Shinjuku, Japan This may not look like much, but itโ€™s the quiet street that Iโ€™ve been calling home while in Japan ๐Ÿ˜Š After spending so much time moving from place to place, itโ€™s nice to have a central location again. This was also my first test using AirBnB as a rental option for an extended period, and I couldnโ€™t be more pleased. Iโ€™ve had the opportunity to start establishing routine (my daily walk to and from Shinjuku station from where I set out to explore Tokyo) which has been something that I feel as though I have been sorely lacking for the majority of the journey. Plus, it doesnโ€™t hurt that living in Tokyo carries a sense of genuine wish fulfillment for me. Iโ€™ve been wanting to do this since I was very young. As I plan to take a stop back in the states for a few months before continuing forward, this experience is certainly making me realize what it might be like to truly *live* abroad.
